Reliable Scheduling Act

In our busy lives, it’s often hard to juggle work, school, family commitments and even time to yourself. For those who work in hourly jobs – particularly in retail – it becomes even more difficult when job schedules are not posted in advance and bosses can change, add or drop hours at the very last minute.

This can make it almost impossible to juggle personal appointments, childcare, transportation demands, classes or time with friends and family, or to hold a second job. Worse, uncertain scheduling means uncertain paychecks leaving workers not knowing how much income they can rely on to budget for even the essentials like housing and food.
