Kira Johnson was the recipient of the 2015 Member of the Year award. Kira is an active member and shop steward at UFCW Local 99 in Arizona. She has become a leader not only in her union but in the community as well. She is a fierce advocate for all members and young workers. She is truly passionate about what she does and has become a great union leader. Kira said, “It’s hard to call it work, when you love what you do.”
